Dual Railhammer Chisel pickups power the Sensei. Rails under the wound strings produce tight lows; poles under the plain strings bring out tight highs. Chisels are the most aggressive humbuckers from Reverendif you like dropped tunings with depth and clarity, these fit the bill. And with a fast attack, they’re perfect for shredders. But don’t typecast the Sensei. It fits the mix no matter what genre you throw at it. A passive tone bass contour control also re-voices the pickups in a pinch.
The Sensei RA has a korina body outfitted with a 3-piece korina neck. The profile is medium oval. Twenty-two medium jumbo frets line the pau ferro fretboard. Other features include a tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, pin lock tuners, Boneite nut, Pure Tone jack and a hand-signed, initialed headstock.
